The Tile Backer Board has a polystyrene hard foam core coated on both sides with a glass fibre mesh reinforced cement based mortar layer. It is lightweight, strong, waterproof, easy to cut, and simple to install. Available in a range of sizes and thicknesses, it offers solutions for a wide variety of tiling and building applications.

This backer board can be used as a direct replacement for gypsum plasterboard or timber wall boards in wet areas, to overlay damaged boards, or to provide extra protection to similar wall boards.
