The Tile Backer Board features a polystyrene hard foam core coated on both sides with a glass fibre mesh reinforced cement based mortar layer. Lightweight yet highly robust, it is waterproof, easy to cut, and simple to install. Available in a range of sizes and thicknesses, it is suitable for many tiling and building applications.

This versatile board can be used as a direct replacement for gypsum plasterboard or timber wall boards in wet areas, to overlay damaged boards, or to provide additional protection to similar wall boards.
